Floor |
| The standard floor is constructed from softwood
joists supported on 2 mild steel lattice skids designed to withstand
a superimposed load of 3kN/m2. All timber is preservative treated
to increase durability and prevent decay. Thermal insulation
is provided in accordance with the current Building Regulations.
A floor deck of 15.5mm WBP plywood fixed to the joists completes
the structure and the standard floor covering is 1.5mm sheet
vinyl. |
 |
Floor Options |
| Increased floor loadings of 5kN/m2, various floor
coverings are available, sample cards and specification sheets
are supplied upon request. |
 |
External Walls |
| The wall construction uses a 9mm WBP exterior
grade plywood glued and nailed to a softwood timber frame at
400mm center's forming a structural panel. Glass fibre insulation
suspended in the void provides the required insulation and vapour
check plasterboard forms the internal lining achieving the half
hour fire resistance and class O classification to the Building
Regulations part B appendix A. The standard external finish
is a factory applied resin based texture which can, if required,
be in the client's own livery. |
 |
External Wall Options |
| Optional finishes include Plastic coated steel,
aggregate stone finish, brick and timber cladding. |
 |
Internal Walls |
| The non-load bearing walls consist of softwood
framing at 400mm center's lined both sides with 12.7mm plasterboard.
|
|
|
 |
Internal Wall options |
| Half glazed partitioning, sliding and folding
partitions can be incorporated to meet client's requirements.
|
 |
Roof |
| The roof construction uses softwood ceiling roof
joists (125 x 38 at 400mm center's) spanning between 2 purpose
designed lattice steel beams. The roof covering is a single
layer flexible PVC roofing system fully bonded to a 9.5mm WBP
exterior grade plywood deck which is securely fixed to the roof
joists. Glass fibre insulation mat laid between the joists provides
the required insulation and a ceiling of 12.7mm plasterboard
completes the structure. The roof construction attains a ext
FAA fire rating to BS476 part 3 1975 and the ceiling has a class
O classification to the building regulations part B appendix
A. The roof is laid to falls with the uPVC gutters and downpipes
being sit fixed after the assembly of the modules. |
 |
Roof Options |
| Alternative roofing can be 3 layer felt if required,
or a pitched and tiled roof using lightweight tiles to give
the building a permanent look. |
 |
External Doors |
| External door frames are aluminium with wool
pile draught strips. Exterior doors are 838 x 1081mm solid core
ply flush and are hung on 3 butt hinges and fitted with SAA
lever furniture mortice lock and latch. Doors are finished with
primer, undercoat and gloss paint. Panic bars and door closers
etc. can be fitted if required. |
 |
External Door Options |
| Doors can be solid or half glazed with GWPP,
GWRC or laminated glass. Double glazed and made of uPVC, aluminium
or timber construction. |
 |
Internal Doors |
| These are manufactured from a high density durable
scratch resistant embossed hardboard (textured blonde oak) set
in a good quality softwood frame. The doors are hung on steel
butt hinges fitted with SAA lever handles and latches with the
frame finished with a primer and 2 coats of eggshell plaint.

 |
Internal Door Options |
| Gloss painted. Half Glazed or with vision panels
in either single, double or one and half leaf size. |
